Cosmetic injections are minimally invasive aesthetic treatments. The two main types are neurotoxin (tox) injections such as Xeomin® and Botox®, which relax muscles to smooth wrinkles and fine lines, and dermal fillers such as Juvéderm®, which restore volume and add definition. Both treatments are quick, require no downtime, and deliver natural-looking results when administered by an experienced injector.

Botox and other tox injections (such as Xeomin) are neurotoxins that relax the muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles like forehead lines, crow's feet, and frown lines. Dermal fillers such as Juvéderm® add volume and definition to areas like the lips, cheeks, and under-eyes. The two treatments address different concerns and are often used together for complementary results. You may feel the brief sting of the needle, but it subsides quickly. Most of the cosmetic injections we offer include lidocaine to reduce pain, and we can apply topical numbing cream for additional comfort. After an injection, the treated area may feel tender for a short period of time.

Tox injection results typically appear within 3–7 days, with full effect visible at 2 weeks. Dermal filler results are visible immediately, though some initial swelling is normal and will subside within a few days to reveal the final outcome.

How long cosmetic injections last varies by the type of product, quantity used, and your metabolism. Tox injections typically last for 3–4 months, while fillers last anywhere from 6–24 months.
